Watercolour pencil drawing - Roses

Watercolour pencils was the art medium used for this art exercise. Pencil sketching to start the project, choosing the palette to be used among solid existing pencil watercolours and colours created after mixing. Finally, the appliance of the colors for the final painting. Lovely art session evening!

Mixed media box, and mixed media painting. Acrylics, airdryclay, and other art mediums

After having walked and enjoyed nature sceneries and gathered some flowers, around a village, a painted carton box I created, with acrylics and air dry clay, as well as a homade mixture of plaster, glue, and white acrylic color. Along with the carton box, for storing dried flowers and other nature elements I gather when I go for a walk, a mixed media painting I created as well.

It was also a lovely day in the art studio!

Enjoy,

With love,

Abstract flower painting, with acrylics colours, somewhere in between gardening, the beach, free time from work, and the cooling summer hours of the sunset.

Sunflowers field

Summer evening next to a sunflower field. "Summertime and the living is easy..."

Scrolling chicken, acrylic painting

This time, acrylics were worked at a cardboard, that added texture to the final painting, with its surface and with carved lining. A chicken scrolling next to my garden is the painting's theme. Some stones from the garden along with glitter, and colours, added extra dimension to the final result. That was a lot of fun!

Still life, acrylic painting

Acrylics on paper, a still life attempt using only basic complementary colors. An orange fruit, an empty vase, a shadowy place and an embelishment, made with stencil and modeling paste. Varnish will keep things in place.

Mixed media canvas, Bird with ceramic flowers

I wanted to create a palette backround on cardboard, at this art project, and also wanted to find out, how well a canvas surface...
